Lincoln Park

Unlike the Gold Coast, coops and high-rise buildings in Lincoln Park are isolated to the neighborhood’s east boundary. The majority of the neighborhood is less dense, comprised of smaller multi-unit rental and condo buildings, townhouses and single-family homes. Recent trends include extensive westward residential and retail expansion, as well as the addition of enormous multi-lot single-family homes. Lincoln Park is located between Lake Michigan and the North Branch of the Chicago River and from North Avenue north to Diversey Parkway.
